Cheap and Lovely Amiga 600

The Amiga 600 is a lovingly compact version of the A500+ and thus a brilliant little 16-bit micro that can still pull off some impressive audiovisual tricks. This particular Amiga 600 currently up for auction on eBay, will probably end up with a very modest price and still come complete with several cover disks, a mouse, leads and three games: Civilization, Dune II and Black Crypt.

The computer is fully tested and working. Seller ships only within the United Kingdom.

  1. Sigh. Neither the Amiga 600, nor any of its earlier cousins, are "16-bit micros". They are all full blown 32-bit computers, just like AmigaOS is. Please update this blog entry accordingly. Misinformation serves no one.

    1. Indeed. And as the Amiga 600, the Amiga 500 and the Amiga 500+ are all based around the 16/32-bit 68000 processor with a 16-bit external bus and thus 16-bit components.

The A1200 on the other hand did come with both a 32-bit CPU and the 32-bit AGA.

      Sigh.

    2. Forgot to add a "they are 16-bit machines whether you like it or not" in the first paragraph.
